Coraltek launches: Coralbond PU 535 ME
Coralbond PU 535 ME is an emission-free polyurethane hot melt developed for laminating panels made from different materials.

We are proudly presenting a new PUR HM adhesive for panel production
Lamination of polyester, PVC, aluminium, steel, trespa, etc. sheet material to XPS, SBS, PIR, PUR, etc. core materials is no problem with our Coralbond PU 530 PURHM moist-curing adhesive . Very suitable for lamination of stress- and difficult “surface tension” substrates. The adhesive properties are:

Coralbond PU 420
We are proudly presenting our own range of PU adhesives
In cooperation with a texile laminator, Coraltek developed its own PU moist-curing sprayable adhesive for lamination of foam, film, non-woven and textile. The adhesive properties:
- Very fine spray
- UV stable
- Very high washability
- Non-yellowing
- Excellent bond to difficult substrates (PVC, mesh, etc.)

Lamination project supported by Coraltek
Coraltek consulted a textile lamination project for a large workwear producer, that invested in a complete production plant. The goal was to add wind- and waterproof garments
to their productline. We worked in close cooperation with the client, the machine manufacturer, the adhesive producer and the breathable membrane supplier. In this partnership, we guided the manufacturing, trained the staff and developed

Winding the laminate:
A batcher is prepared on an A-frame, then the freshly produced laminates has to “cure” and goes for a third layer.
Testing of the laminate:
The produced laminated undergoes a number of tests, before and after intense washing:
- Peel strength
- Hydrostatic waterhead
- Breathability
- Water repellency
- Flex testing
- etc., etc.
Coralclean HMP-X
Coraltek developed a special hotmelt roller cleaner. We offer a strong cleaner, that removes cured hotmelt parts from (engraved) rollers, even when they are carbonized and burned-in. The formulation works in conjunction with higher temperatures and is based on “mild chemistry”. It does not contain
hazardous components, neither is it listed on Restricted Substance List (MRSL), the SVHC candidate list of REACH and the MRSL of ZDHC

Heavy duty flooring
Special lamination of heavy duty flooring using Coralbond PU 420
For our customer, we laminated steel plate to heavy duty multiplex using Coralbond PU and added a UV indicator to visualize the adhesive during the process. The opened fresh laminate shows a perfect transfer of the adhesive. The end-product withstands outdoors usage (all weather), heavy impact (mechanical & chemical) and carries heavy weight (mechanical stability).

Coraltek developed Coralbond PU 122, a new PUR hotmelt adhesive for producing laminated parquet flooring.
Properties:
– Application (130-150ºC)
– Very high initial bond
– Very fast building of strength (setting speed)
– Good bonding to different types of wood
– Very high humidity- and heat resistance (end-product)

New project with Maan Engineering for flat lamination
For a very demanding requirement, where the customer uses materials with tension, Coraltek is supporting the project with a new reactive hotmelt development that provides very high initial bonding power.

MLE (micro emission) PUR hotmelt
Neoflex developed a range of very low emission reactive PU hotmelts. These adhesives come without the cancer warning sign because the MDI content is below 0,1%.
